altBLAIRSVILLE - Jo Ann and Richard Cornwell are doing everything they can to find their missing daughter and sister, Kristi. While they can spread the word of her abduction more efficiently with the use of their personal plane, worry continues to grow as almost two months have gone by since her disappearance.

Kristi's mother, Jo Ann, said, "As the days go by, I thought I was coping better, but now it's just getting harder and harder. It's just been so long now. But we really have a lot of hope that she's going to be found alive."

For three weeks after the abduction, the Cornwells used their plane to look for Kristi as part of the groundsearch that involved more than 100 agents and officers. And though the official groundsearch has ceased, the family is still flying to surrounding areas in hopes of making Kristi Cornwell a familiar name and face.

Kristi's brother, Richard, said, "We travel to various regions in the tri-state area to pass out flyers and conduct interviews to try and get the word out as much as possible. Our plane is a very valuable tool to do that."

And the Cornwells say they aren't giving up on finding the missing piece to their family. "We're going to keep searching until we find Kristi, and until we can find the perpetrator of this crime," said Richard.
