CLEVELAND - [watch] The White County Warriors won a lot of games in 2010, just not the games they needed to. The team's 3 losses were the least the school has had since 1981, but two of the three came in the Warriors sub-region and that's what kept them from making their second playoff appearance in three years.
Despite not making the post season there the last few years have been some of the best in the school's history.
The back to back to back winning seasons under head coach Gregg Seagraves is a feat that has only been matched one time in school history and that was 30 years ago.
And there is no reason to think that the Warriors rise will end any time soon.
This season the Warriors return one of the most exciting players in Northeast Georgia. Running back Ashley Lowery is a Division one prospect and made big plays on offense and defense last season.
The other big returners for the Warriors share the same last name as their coach. Wide receiver Cam Seagraves has been a top target over the last couple of seasons and this year he looks to be catching balls from his little brother Cole who split time at quarterback as a freshman last year and looks to take over the starting job this season.
