BOGART - A former University of Georgia All-American golfer has done something nearly impossible. He scored hole-in-ones on the same hole Thursday and Friday at the Athens Regional Foundation Tournament. SEE THE VIDEO.

Brendon Todd's ace came at the 147-yard, 17th hole - the second time in two days. "It's still hard to believe," said Todd after posting a 1-under-71. It's a bit surreal, even now."

Todd is the first player in the 20-year history of the Tour to ace the same hole twice in the same tournament.

"It's just pure disbelief," said Todd. "It was a stroke of good luck, twice in a row. I guess it's like catching lightning in a bottle."

Todd used an 8-iron for his hole-in-one on Friday at the Jennings Mill Country Club course. He is 5-under after 36 holes in the $550,000 event, the seventh stop on the 2009 Nationwide Tour schedule.

During Thursday's opening round, Todd used a 7-iron when the hole played 157 yards and finished with a 4-under-68.

The last player to ace the same hole twice in the same tournament was Graham Marsh at the 2004 Senior British Open.

In modern day history, there have been five players to record two aces in a single PGA TOUR event, two whom did it in the same round.

Yusaku Miyazato, 2006 RenoTahoe Open, Round 2 (#7, #12)
Bob Tway, 1994 Memorial Tournament, Round 1 (#8), Round 3 (#12)
